“Plant A Tree of Hope” Program: China has a vast territory and a complex as well as diverse natural environment. Rural areas in different regions are facing different environmental challenges. Land desertification and the expansion of deserts have led to the rampant occurrence of sandstorms and smog. The disappearance and degradation of a plant species may result in the eventual collapse of the ecosystem. With the goal of “developing circular and green economy”, the “Plant A Tree of Hope” Program strives to unite the public and various organizations through “Internet + Public Welfare” to participate in ecological co-creation and rural co-construction, and ultimately form a sustainable development model in which ecological environment protection, farm household income increase, and regional economic development can proceed in parallel and circularly promote each other.
